Since the robot answers right away, the students don't have to stop and wait. And with some questions answered by the robot, you as a teacher get more time to guide the students and give thorough explanations where they are needed.
If we succeed with Sikt KI in building a local, regional and national AI infrastructure, it could become as significant for Norwegian schools as Feide.

How do I get access?
If your organisation uses Sikt KI, just log in with one of the providers at the top of the page. If not, get in touch and we will help you get started.
What does it cost?
For you as a user: nothing. The organisation pays a setup fee, a monthly fee for its chosen modules, and for actual usage of the language models.
Why is Sikt KI secure?
We have taken a range of measures: secure Feide login, protected anonymity, and encrypted chat history that only you can access. It is easy to control who has access to which assistants, nothing you write is used to further train the models, and inactive user profiles are deleted automatically. All the language models run in Europe, and everything is built in line with GDPR and Norwegian law.
Is the legal side covered?
Yes. We have assessed data controller roles and subcontractors, drawn up data processing agreements and privacy statements, and built everything in line with GDPR and Norwegian law.

Yes. Sikt KI is universally designed, and we work continuously to keep the service user friendly, whether you are new to AI or a power user.
Why did Sikt build Sikt KI?
AI tools handle large amounts of information about their users. Sikt is the education sector's own service provider, with a public mandate to enable secure digitalisation. When students, researchers and staff asked for safe AI tools, we built Sikt KI.
What are the plans ahead?
We develop Sikt KI continuously to improve functionality, usability and security, based on user feedback, changes in the technology and new needs in the sector. New language models are supported as they arrive.
